Rates

Please see below for all rates, including those for remote assessment, therapy, and clinical supervsion:

 

Prior to assessment and therapy:

After you have first made contact with Dr Freedman, you may be offered an initial telephone consultation of 15 minutes which is to ascertain in brief what your issues are and whether therapy is the best option for you. This will be free of charge. Alternatively you can email some brief details of the issues when you first make an enquiry.

 

One-to-One therapy:

The initial psychological and health asssessment generally last for an hour, where you will be asked questions about yourself and the issues you have come to therapy with. This will also include a short health assessment, followed by three brief clinical questionnaires which will look at symptoms of depression, anxiety, and phobia/avoidance.

 

Rates for the initial assessement and for subsequent sessions, differ according to which method of communication is used.

 

Face-to-face Assessment (for 1 hour): £85.

Subsequent face-to-face sessions will be: £85 per one hour session.

(This is dependent on what type of therapy is required, e.g. Hypnotherapy is charged at £95 per one hour session, other therapeutic approaches will be £85 per one hour session).

 

Remote Assessment rates for all therapies, including hypnotherapy:

Assessment via Skype, WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and VSee: £75 for 1 hour.

Assessment via telephone: £65 per 1 hour.

Subsequent sessions via Skype, WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, Teams, or VSee: £75 per one hour session

Subsequent sessions via telephone (mobile or landline): £65 per one hour session

 

Couples Therapy: 

Face-to-face: £150 for a 90 minute initial assessment or £120 per hour and for subsequent hourly sessions. 

Remote methods: £140 for a 90 minute session, or £110 per hour, and for subsequent sessions.

Please note that couples therapy is better suited to an in person face-to-face session, but it is possible via video consultation too.

Reduced rates can be negotiated for OAPs, students, individuals on a low income, and NHS Workers. Please enquire about reductions.

Health Insurance

If you think you cannot afford to pay for therapy, but have private health insurance, Dr Rosie Freedman is registered with the following private health insurance providers as a Psychologist:

  • BUPA

  • Cigna
  • WPA
  • VitalityHealth (PruHealth)
  • Simply Health

Clinical Supervision rates:

 

One hour face-to-face session: £70

One hour Skype/Zoom/WhatsApp/FaceTime session: £65

One hour Telephone session: £60

 

90 minute face-to-face session: £90

90 minute Skype/Zoom/WhatsApp/FaceTime session: £85

90 minute Telephone session: £80

Group supervision of up to 4 people per one hour session: £100 

(Additional individuals may be added to the group at £40 per person).

 

Research, consultancy and teaching and training rates can be negotiated.

Payment Methods

You may pay by cash or cheque at the beginning of each session, or via PayPal or bank transfer in advance of each session.

 

If you want your private health insurance provider to pay for your therapy, you will need to check with them that you are covered for psychological therapy under your policy, prior to your first appointment with Dr Freedman. 

 

If payments are not kept up to date you will no longer be able to book any more appointments with us.

 

All rates are subject to regular review.

Cancellation Policy

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to pay the full cost of the session if you do not attend your scheduled appointment, or you have not notified us at least 48 hours in advance that you are unable to attend. Having 48 hours notice makes it more possible to offer that appointment slot to another patient in need. Thank you.
